Known reporting biases to take into account when looking at this

1) This site originated in Utah. There are proportionally more accidents in Utah/ the United States because the site owner reaches out to his friends who crash and ask them to report. If everybody in the world reported, we would likely see places with far more pilots reporting more accidents

2) Miniwings/ speed wings are more willing to report their accidents here. It could be because there is more crossover with BASE jumping and they are familiar with the BFL, or it could be because people who fly little wings are more willing to help each other learn, or it could be any other reason.

3) Fatalities are under-reported here because nobody seems to want to report fatalities.
